What FundedNext is, and who it suits
What the firm is, who it suits, and what you will trade it on.
XSR summary
FundedNext launched in the UAE in March 2022; its CFD side sells four one-time Stellar products on MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader: 1-Step, 2-Step, the cheaper Lite, and Instant with no evaluation. Loss limits are fixed rather than trailing, and 1-Step and 2-Step pay back 15% of the challenge profit target once you qualify for scale-up. The catches sit on the funded account: a 3% open-risk limit, only 40% of news-window profit counted, a cap on trades closed within 30 seconds, and no EAs or VPS at $50,000 and up. Taiwan residents are capped at $50,000 of funded capital. FundedNext Futures is a separate product line with its own rules and is not covered here.

Watch out for
Funded accounts carry a 3% open-risk limit, count only 40% of news-window profit and ban EAs and VPS from $50,000 up; Taiwan is capped at $50,000.

The loss limit is measured from your starting balance and never moves. The most forgiving of the three.

Once you are funded
No activation fee; the 5%/10% limits carry over and there is no minimum day count. On the standard option the first reward comes after 21 days, then every 14. The fee is refunded with the 1st reward, and 15% of both phase targets is paid once you qualify for FundedNext Pro scale-up (4 rewards of 4%+ growth over at least 2 months).
FundedNext rules, in plain words
Most dangerous first. Each one says what the rule is, how it is measured, and what it looks like on a real account.
Maximum loss: a fixed floor from the starting balance
StrictOn Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, balance or equity may never drop below the starting balance minus 10%, 6% or 8%. The floor does not move, so profit widens your cushion. It applies in the challenge and once funded, and touching it on floating loss ends the account.
Example
On a $100,000 Stellar 2-Step the floor is $90,000. Once you are $4,000 up, you can lose $14,000 before touching it.
Daily loss: a fixed amount from the day's starting balance
StrictThe daily limit is a fixed share of the starting balance: 5% on 2-Step, 3% on 1-Step, 4% on Lite, measured from the previous day's closing balance and reset at 00:00 server time. Closed and floating losses, swaps and commissions all count. Profit made earlier in the day adds room, but the limit itself does not grow with the account.
Example
A $100,000 Stellar 2-Step starts the day at $110,000. The limit is still $5,000, so equity must stay above $105,000 that day.
Stellar Instant: a trailing floor that never comes down
StrictStellar Instant has no daily limit, but its 6% maximum loss trails your highest balance until it reaches the starting balance, then stops. Losses and rewards never lower it, so every withdrawal narrows your buffer, and after a reward it trails again from the first dollar of new profit.
Example
On a $10,000 account the floor starts at $9,400. At $10,200 it is $9,600. Withdraw $100 and your $10,100 balance sits against the same $9,600 floor, a $500 buffer.
Funded accounts: no more than 3% risk at any time
StrictOn every funded account, the potential loss of open positions (by stop-loss, or realised plus floating loss) may not exceed 3% of the starting balance at any time, with split orders on one idea counted together. A first breach brings a warning and removes that trade's profit; a second does the same and cuts your limit to 1% for good.
Example
On a $50,000 funded account the cap is $1,500. Two EUR/USD buys with stops risking $900 each total $1,800, so the profit from both is deducted and a warning issued.
News: only 40% of the profit counts once funded
Watch outNews trading is unrestricted in the challenge. On funded Stellar accounts (Instant included), trades opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a listed high-impact release count only 40% of their profit; losses count in full, and a partial close taints the whole order. The adjustment is made when the cycle ends.
Example
A funded trader makes $10,000 in a cycle plus $3,000 from news-window trades. Only $1,200 of the $3,000 counts, so the cycle profit is $11,200.
Quick Strike: trades closed within 30 seconds
Watch outProfit from trades closed within 30 seconds of opening must stay under 30% of the cycle's profit (winning trades only). In the challenge, 20% brings a warning and 30% freezes your progress until it falls back. Once funded, reaching 30% after a warning deducts that profit, and if it is still 30% at cycle end the account is terminated.
Example
You hit the $8,000 Phase 1 target on a $100,000 account, but $3,200 came from trades under 30 seconds, which is 40%. You advance only once total profit passes about $10,667.
2-Step and Lite: the payout option is locked at checkout
Good to knowAt checkout you pick one, for good: first reward after 21 days, then every 14, at 80%; 3 Winning Days of 1%+ each, at 60%; or On-Demand once you are 2% up with no day above 40% of total profit, at 90%. A Bi-Weekly add-on gives 14-day rewards from the start.
Example
On a $50,000 On-Demand account with $2,500 profit, your best day may be at most $1,000.
$50,000 and up: manual trading only, no VPS
Watch outAccounts of $50,000 and up must be traded by hand from your own device: no EAs, bots, SL/TP management tools or VPS. Below $50,000, EAs and VPS are allowed on MT4/MT5 for a fee; cTrader and Match-Trader never allow EAs. Each EA needs its own settings, with $300,000 maximum per strategy.
30 days idle deactivates; finish KYC within 30 days
Good to knowAn account with no trade for 30 consecutive calendar days is deactivated, and a passed challenge without KYC completed within 30 days is voided. The challenge itself has no time limit.

From Hong Kong or Taiwan
Neither region is restricted, and FundedNext Limited, which runs the website, has an office in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Taiwan residents, however, are capped at $50,000 of total allocation and cannot reset a $100,000 or $200,000 account. Workable rails are USDT/USDC (up to $1,999 per request), RiseWorks for larger amounts, or bank transfer from $1,000; expect up to 3.5% in fees.
Can Hong Kong and Taiwan traders use FundedNext?
Read from the firm's own list. A firm that bans Hong Kong or Taiwan is not listed on XSR at all.

Not restricted
Taiwan residents are capped at $50,000 of total funded capital and cannot reset $100K/$200K accounts. Hong Kong is unaffected.
Applies to residents and citizens, and VPNs with IPs from these countries are banned. Taiwan is not banned but is one of eight countries (with Cambodia, Mongolia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Pakistan) capped at $50,000 total allocation. US clients cannot use MT4/MT5, so no Stellar Instant, and trade on Match-Trader.
