What it covers

Lucid's own public code, printed under its pricing grid: 30% off the base price of LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect. It does not discount the no-daily-limit surcharge or resets. LucidDaily was 40% off with it in September; the October rate is unconfirmed. No end date is printed.

The firm's own public code. Anyone can use it and XSR earns nothing from it.

What Lucid Trading is, and who it suits

What the firm is, who it suits, and what you will trade it on.

XSR summary

Lucid Trading (Lucid Trading Group LLC, a Delaware company set up in 2025) is a futures-only prop firm selling one-time LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDaily evaluations and a straight-to-funded LucidDirect account, with no activation fees. Flex, Pro and Direct use an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at starting balance + $100; LucidDaily funded accounts switch to an intraday drawdown but pay out daily. The daily loss limit is optional on Flex, Pro and Daily: you choose at checkout, and turning it off costs more. Funded accounts are simulated and pay 90%. The catch for Hong Kong and Taiwan: crypto payouts were reportedly withdrawn for both in August 2026, leaving WorkMarket bank transfer or PayPal.

Suits

One-time fees, no activation fee, a 90% split and payouts on any qualifying day.

Watch out for

Crypto payouts were reportedly withdrawn for Hong Kong and Taiwan in August 2026 — expect WorkMarket bank transfer or PayPal.

CME Group futures only: equity indices (ES, NQ, RTY, YM, NKD and micros), currencies (6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S, 6N), energy (CL, MCL, QM, NG, QG), metals (GC, MGC, SI, SIL, HG, PL) and agriculture (ZC, ZS, ZL, ZM, ZW, HE, LE). No rates or crypto contracts are on the list.
Leverage and limits
Every plan has the same caps: 2 minis or 20 micros on $25K, 4 / 40 on $50K, 6 / 60 on $100K, 10 / 100 on $150K, available in full during the evaluation. LucidFlex funded accounts start lower and scale with simulated profit, reset at each session close; Pro, Direct and Daily funded accounts get the full cap from day one. Live accounts have their own scaling table, with fewer contracts on COMEX metals.
Commissions

Lucid Trading challenges and prices

Pick a program and a size. Every number is the firm's list price and rule before any code.

Lucid's cheapest evaluation: 50% consistency in the evaluation (two-day pass possible), then no consistency rule and no buffer once funded, with half your profit withdrawable after 5 profitable days. Prices below include the daily loss limit; switching it off at checkout adds $10 on 25K / 50K and $35 on 100K / 150K and removes the limit in both phases. Paid once per attempt.

Once you are funded

Upgrade within 5–30 minutes of hitting the target, with no activation fee. The funded account keeps the same Max Loss Limit and has no consistency rule or buffer. Each payout needs 5 days of $100 / $150 / $200 / $250+ profit and a positive cycle, and pays 50% of profit up to $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000; your first request locks the MLL at starting balance + $100. Contracts scale with profit. After payout 5 you go to live review.

Lucid Trading rules, in plain words

Most dangerous first. Each one says what the rule is, how it is measured, and what it looks like on a real account.

3 Strict4 Watch out2 Good to know

  1. Max Loss Limit: trails, then locks at +$100

    Strict

Flex, Pro and Direct use an end-of-day drawdown: the Max Loss Limit (MLL) follows your highest closing balance up, never down, and once you close above the Initial Trail Balance it locks at starting balance + $100. On Flex, requesting a payout locks it at once. LucidDaily funded accounts trail intraday, open P&L included. If your balance reaches the MLL, the account is breached.

    Example

LucidFlex 50K: the MLL starts at $48,000. Close at $51,000 and it moves to $49,000; close above $52,100 and it locks at $50,100. On a LucidDaily 50K funded account it trails live: a trade that runs up $800 and gives it all back has already lifted the MLL by $800.

  2. LucidDaily funded: no high-impact US news

    Strict

On LucidDaily funded accounts, trading high-impact (red-folder) USD news is a hard breach. You must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the release, with no open positions and no new orders. Flex, Pro and Direct have no news rule.

    Example

US CPI is out at 8:30 AM ET (8:30 PM in Hong Kong and Taipei during US daylight time, 9:30 PM in winter). You must be flat from 8:29 to 8:31; any position still open at 8:29 ends the account.

  3. Optional daily loss limit: a pause, not a fail

    Watch out

On Flex, Pro and Daily you switch the daily loss limit on or off at checkout; the choice covers both phases and cannot be changed. Hitting it locks you out until the next session; the account survives. On Pro and Direct funded accounts it becomes LucidScale (60% of your best end-of-day profit) after you close above the Initial Trail Balance. It does not trail with the MLL, so the MLL can be closer.

    Example

LucidPro 50K with the limit on: $1,200 a day. After you close above $52,100 with a best end-of-day profit of $4,000, the limit becomes $2,400 ($4,000 × 60%) and only goes up from there.

  4. Consistency differs by plan

    Watch out

Consistency is your largest single-day profit divided by account profit. Flex and Daily evaluations need 50% or less to pass, with a small cushion; Pro funded accounts need 40% or less in each payout cycle and Direct 20%. Pro evaluations and Flex / Daily funded accounts have no rule. It restarts after each payout and stops applying once you are live.

    Example

LucidDirect 50K, first goal $3,000: your best day may be at most $600. A $900 day means you need $4,500 of cycle profit before you can request.

  5. No hedging across accounts, users or firms

    Strict

You may not hold opposite positions in the same contract, or in correlated contracts (equities, metals, energies and so on), across separate accounts: yours, someone else's or another firm's. Opposite minis and micros of one contract are allowed only inside a single account. A first flag resets the accounts to the prior day's balance without restoring drawdown; repeats breach every account involved and can mean a ban.

    Example

Long 1 ES on one LucidPro account and short 2 NQ on another: prohibited. Long 1 ES and short 5 MES in the same account: allowed.

  6. LucidFlex funded: contracts scale with profit

    Watch out

LucidFlex funded accounts start below the cap and add size as simulated profit grows, adjusted after each session's close; a payout can drop you a tier. Pro, Direct and Daily funded accounts and every evaluation get the full cap from day one. Deliberately exceeding a limit can wipe that day's profit.

    Example

LucidFlex 50K funded: 2 minis at $0–$999 profit, 3 from $1,000, 4 from $2,000. Withdraw $1,000 from $2,400 of profit and you are back to 3 minis next session.

  7. Microscalping and HFT

    Watch out

If more than 50% of your profit comes from trades held 5 seconds or less, the account is flagged for manual review and, if confirmed, a warning; repeats forfeit those profits and can end in a ban. High-frequency trading is banned outright. Ordinary scalping, DCA, flipping for trading days, bots and trade copiers are allowed.

    Example

You make $2,000 in a cycle and $1,100 of it came from trades held 3–4 seconds. That is 55%, so expect a review.

  8. Flat by 4:45 PM ET, no weekends

    Good to know

All sim positions must be closed by 4:45 PM ET, Monday to Friday, or before an earlier holiday close. Lucid closes anything still open, and that does not fail the account. Trading reopens at 6 PM ET, Sunday to Thursday.

    Example

From Hong Kong or Taipei the cut-off is 4:45 AM during US daylight time and 5:45 AM in winter.

  9. 30-day activity rule and account limits

    Good to know

An account with no trade producing at least $1 of net profit or loss in 30 calendar days is treated as abandoned and permanently deleted. Breached evaluations are deleted after 30 days unless you buy a reset. A household can hold 5 funded accounts and 10 accounts in total across evaluations and funded.

Lucid Trading payouts: when, how much and how

When you can withdraw, how much, and how the money reaches you.

  1. 01 · First payout

Flex: after 5 days of at least $100 / $150 / $200 / $250 profit and a positive cycle. Pro: once the cycle earns $250 / $500 / $750 / $1,000 within 40% consistency and you are above the buffer. Direct: once you reach the $1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 goal within 20% consistency. Daily: as soon as you are above the buffer.

  2. 02 · After that

No fixed window: request any day you qualify, and the conditions restart after each approved payout. Flex, Pro and Direct allow 5 payouts per account, after which the risk team reviews you for live; Daily can request every day. Paid within 2 business days of approval.

  3. 03 · Profit split

90% on every plan; Pro accounts bought or reset before 28 Nov 2025 keep 100% of the first $10,000.

Minimum
$500 per request on every plan.
Caps
Flex: 50% of profit, up to $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 every time. Pro: $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 on payout 1, then $1,500 / $2,500 / $3,000 / $3,500. Direct: $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 on payouts 1–3, then $1,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 / $3,500. Daily: no per-request cap, but a $6,000 / $8,000 / $10,000 / $12,000 day triggers a move to live, and sim profit paid on that move is capped at $15,000 in total.
Payout methods
  • Plaid (US only)
  • WorkMarket by ADP (bank transfer or PayPal)
  • Crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC)
Before you can request
  • No breach of the trading rules, the terms or the plan's account agreement.
  • Requests are final once submitted and cannot be edited or cancelled.
  • Flex and Daily: net profit since the last payout must be positive (at least $1).
  • Pro and Daily: you cannot withdraw from the buffer (Initial MLL + $100); trading into it before approval can get the request denied.
  • Funds leave the account within minutes of approval, so trade as if the payout is already gone.

From Hong Kong or Taiwan

Lucid's own payout page still lists crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC) for international traders, but two third-party sites quote a Discord notice from Lucid's CEO dated 26 August 2026: residents of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia can no longer take crypto payouts and must use WorkMarket (bank transfer or PayPal). Plan on WorkMarket: funds can arrive as early as the next business day, and international transfers may carry intermediary and FX fees. Plaid is US-only.

Can Hong Kong and Taiwan traders use Lucid Trading?

Read from the firm's own list. A firm that bans Hong Kong or Taiwan is not listed on XSR at all.

HK

Hong Kong

Not restricted

TW

Taiwan

Not restricted

Hong Kong and Taiwan residents are accepted, but since August 2026 they reportedly cannot take crypto payouts — payouts go by bank transfer or PayPal through WorkMarket. Lucid's own payout page does not confirm the change yet.

Applies to citizens as well as residents, so a Hong Kong resident holding a listed passport is excluded. Hong Kong and Taiwan are not listed, but both have reportedly lost crypto payouts (see the payout notes).

  • lucidtrading.com answered automated reads with a Cloudflare check, so its pricing grid and banner were not seen directly. Flex, Pro and Direct prices come from Lucid's public product feed and match third-party checks from August to October 2026.
  • LucidDaily prices are Lucid's checkout settings as read in August–September 2026 (two sources agree). One third party read lower prices on 2 October ($104 / $138 / $224 / $313 intraday, $118 / $166 / $267 / $375 EOD), and Lucid's product feed lists the 150K EOD at $315.
  • The no-daily-limit surcharges (Flex +$10 / $10 / $35 / $35, Pro +$15 / $20 / $35 / $53) come from a third party (Funded Program Finder, 5 Aug 2026); Lucid's help centre only says the price is higher.
  • LucidFlex daily-limit amounts with the limit on ($600 / $1,200 / $1,800 / $2,700) come from third-party reads of the plan cards; the help centre prints none. LucidPro 25K: the evaluation page says no daily limit, the funded page says $600.
  • The end of crypto payouts for Hong Kong and Taiwan is known only from a 26 Aug 2026 Discord notice relayed by PropScorer and PropTradingVibes; Lucid's payout page, updated the same day, does not mention it.
  • VAULT was seen on Lucid's site by a third party (Prop Firm Scout: verified 29 Sep, prices checked 6 Oct), not by us; the LucidDaily rate for October is unconfirmed.
  • CEO AJ Campanella is taken from his own X profile and third-party coverage; 2025 comes from Lucid's March 2025 Terms of Use and third parties. Lucid prints only a Dover, Delaware mailing address (a registered-agent address) and names no operating city.
