What it covers
The site-banner code: 60% off every Quick Pay account ($25K from $100 to $40 a month) and 50% off Fast Pass. The site prints no end date and does not say whether renewals keep the discount; third-party listings call it a 5-day flash sale ending around 9 October 2026.
The firm's own public code. Anyone can use it and XSR earns nothing from it.

XSR summary
TradeDay is a Chicago futures firm founded in 2020 by James Thorpe and Steve Miley. Since 'TradeDay 2.0' launched on 29 May 2026 it sells three monthly-subscription evaluations from $25K to $150K: Quick Pay with intraday or end-of-day drawdown, and Fast Pass with end-of-day drawdown. None has an activation fee or a daily loss limit. Quick Pay pays from day one but at 50% while the account holds under $4,000 profit; Fast Pass pays 80% after five qualifying winning days, with a per-request cap. The trap: once funded, Quick Pay always trails intraday, even if you passed on end-of-day.

Watch out for
Quick Pay pays 50% until the account holds $4,000 of profit, and once funded it always trails intraday.

The details
- Data feed / broker
- CQG (Tradovate) · Rithmic
- Assets
- IndicesFXRatesEnergyMetalsAgriculture
- Instruments
- CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures only, excluding high-margin and illiquid contracts: equity indices (ES, NQ, RTY, YM, NKD and micros), FX (6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S, 6N, M6E), Treasuries (ZT, ZF, ZN, ZB, UB, TN), energy (CL, MCL, QM, QG, NG), metals (GC, MGC, SI, SIL, HG, PL) and agriculture (ZC, ZS, ZL, ZM, ZW, HE, LE). No crypto futures.
- Leverage and limits
- Evaluation caps: 2 minis on $25K, 5 on $50K, 10 on $100K, 15 on $150K. Micros count 10 to 1 but stop at 50. Quick Pay funded accounts keep those caps. Fast Pass funded accounts start at 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 minis and add one per $2,000 of end-of-day profit ($25K tops out at 2). Funded Live limits may be cut to fit the balance.
- Commissions
- No mark-up: simulated broker commission per side, per contract, including exchange and NFA fees — $2.88 on ES, NQ, RTY and YM, $0.95 on their micros, $3.00 on CL, $3.10 on GC, $2.30 on ZN. Funded Live traders also pay CME professional data at $156 a month per exchange.
- Max allocation
- $750K5 Funded Sim accounts × $150K. You may also hold up to 5 Funded Live accounts, but those start from transferred profit or $0, not a $150K balance.

TradeDay challenges and prices
Pick a program and a size. Every number is the firm's list price and rule before any code.
The cheapest way in: intraday trailing drawdown in both the evaluation and the funded account. Payouts from day one with no buffer, but at 50% until the account holds more than $4,000 profit. Rebills every month until you pass or cancel.

The loss limit trails unrealised equity tick by tick. The hardest rule in the industry — most blown accounts die here.
Illustration: a made-up path held to this account's real limits.
Once you are funded
No activation fee; billing stops the day you pass. Funded Sim keeps the same drawdown, trailing intraday on gross profit (payouts included), so withdrawing does not pull the floor back down. No consistency rule, no buffer, $250 minimum request. At $10,000 gross profit the account is paused and reviewed for Funded Live; anything above $10,000 is forfeited.
TradeDay rules, in plain words
Most dangerous first. Each one says what the rule is, how it is measured, and what it looks like on a real account.
Maximum drawdown: the one rule that fails you
StrictIntraday drawdown follows your peak equity including open profit; end-of-day drawdown moves only at the close, from your highest closing balance. Both stop once the floor reaches the starting balance. Either way the floor is enforced in real time: touch it with a position open and the evaluation fails or the funded account is lost.
Example
$100K intraday account, floor $97,000. Equity peaks at $101,000 during the day: the floor moves to $98,000 and stays there even if you close the day flat at $100,000.
Quick Pay funded accounts always trail intraday
StrictWhichever drawdown you passed on, every Quick Pay Funded Sim account trails intraday, and it trails on gross profit — payouts still count. So a payout lowers your balance but not the floor. Fast Pass funded accounts keep end-of-day drawdown.
Example
$50K Quick Pay: day one +$500, balance $50,500, floor $48,500. Withdraw the $500 and the balance is back to $50,000 while the floor stays at $48,500 — only $1,500 of room.
Quick Pay: forced pause at $10,000 gross profit
StrictWhen a Quick Pay Funded Sim account reaches $10,000 gross profit (profit in the account plus payouts), it is paused at the 4:30 PM CT run and reviewed overnight for Funded Live. Profit above $10,000 is removed and never paid. The remaining profit moves across at the 50% / 80% split and the Live account's floor is set at $0.
Example
Gross profit $10,000 with $3,500 already withdrawn: the remaining $6,500 moves over — $2,500 at 80% and $4,000 at 50% — so the Live account starts at $4,000 with its floor at $0.
Quick Pay split depends on profit left in the account
Watch outQuick Pay Funded Sim splits are worked out per account on the profit currently in it: the part of a payout that leaves more than $4,000 behind is paid at 80%, the part that dips below $4,000 at 50%. To earn 80% you must keep more than $4,000 in the account.
Example
$50K account with $6,000 profit requests $3,000: the first $2,000 stays above $4,000 and pays 80% ($1,600), the last $1,000 pays 50% ($500). You receive $2,100.
Evaluation consistency and minimum days
Watch outOn Quick Pay no day may exceed 30% of total profit; on Fast Pass, 45% — measured as that day's P&L over total P&L to date. Going over is not a fail; you keep trading until the day falls back under. Quick Pay needs 5 trading days, Fast Pass 3. Switching to 1-lot micros to run out the clock can get the evaluation extended.
Example
$50K Quick Pay, target $3,000. One day of $1,200 is 40% — you must reach $4,000 total before that day is down to 30%.
Tier 1 data: auto-flattened
Watch outTwo minutes before FOMC statements and minutes, CPI and NFP (all products), and EIA oil and gas inventories and crop reports (those products only), every position is flattened; trading reopens two minutes after. An accidental slip does not fail you, but trading the releases on purpose loses the account, and funded profit from them is not paid.
Example
CPI at 7:30 AM CT: your ES position is closed at 7:28 and you can trade again from 7:32.
Flat 10 minutes before the close
Watch outOvernight-session trading is fine, but every position must be closed 10 minutes before its product's close. TradeDay auto-liquidates only at 3:50 PM CT; earlier-closing products such as grains, and holiday sessions, are your job. An accident is not a fail; a pattern loses the account.
Example
A CL position opened at 5:30 PM CT on Tuesday must be closed before 3:50 PM CT on Wednesday.
Prohibited practices
StrictBanned: bots bought from third parties, more than 200 trades a day, few-second scalps for a tick or two or gaming the simulated queue, hedging across accounts, VPNs or VPSs that hide your location, and (funded) trading within 2% of a price limit. One user per household, one username. Every first payout is reviewed; profit from banned practices is confiscated, with no refund.
30 days dormant and you may be removed
Watch outThere is no weekly trading requirement, but any account left dormant for 30 days may be treated as inactive and offboarded. Tradovate adds its own rule: no login for more than a calendar month and the account is archived for good, counted as failed, and you need a reset or a new account.

Can Hong Kong and Taiwan traders use TradeDay?

Hong Kong and Taiwan are not on the list. It applies to citizenship and residence alike, and to extended stays trading from a listed country; the broker and clearing firm run KYC/AML when the funded account is opened. - The help-centre article on account sizes (1 September 2026) lists older prices (e.g. Quick Pay Intraday 50K $125, Fast Pass 150K $480); this page uses the homepage price cards published 6 October.
- FLASH's end date (around 9 October) appears only on third-party sites; the firm prints none, nor whether renewals stay discounted.
- The homepage FAQ says Fast Pass has no minimum trading days, but the price cards and help centre both say 3; this page uses 3.
- The $750K maximum is our arithmetic (5 Funded Sim × $150K); TradeDay states account counts only.
